Gammelgårdens Wilderness area is located along the shores of the untouched and pure "Lögdeälv" (Lögderiver), which gives a great opportunity for fishing. The restaurant is ocationally relocated to the "Storkåta" to serv a wilderness inspiered dinner for up to 50 people at a time. An exotic alternative to this is to eat in the logginghut by the open fire. The dinner is more often than not prepared on a "Muurikka", a very large iron plate. A genuine and good method. If you wish to stay the night, your choises of lodging are huts or cabins.

Boattrips

Gammelgården also serves as the startingpoint for tours with a smaller riverboat down to a unique and untouched "niplandskap" that lies along the "Lögdeälv".
